breeze collection

.

When working on a collection I like to give myself a theme or a train of thought. The breeze collection began with the well-known Native American saying, “When the Last Tree Is Cut Down, the Last Fish Eaten, and the Last Stream Poisoned, You Will Realize That You Cannot Eat Money” I took the saying a little further and tried to imagine the seconds before the last tree is cut down. The last tree growing right there in the city. Just before its cut down we notice that its leaves are made of gold! I guess what I wanted to express is the need for hope and optimism. It's never too late.
