Patrick and Angelika came to me with a very touching story for their wedding rings. 

 

A few years ago, their baby daughter had to undergo a heart operation. As you can imagine, this puts an enormous stress on the family and relationship. Although this was a heavy time, they told me that they don't want to forget it. It made them stronger! Their daughter has a scar on her chest due to the operation and instead of it being something negative for her, its a sign of strength. For her to remember how strong she is.
